NWL Teaching School Hub
Wembley High Technology College provides high-quality professional development to teachers and leaders.
87 new teaching school hubs have been rolled out across the country so that every school in England can have access to a local centre of excellence for teacher training. Wembley High Technology College is one of the 87 schools in England selected by the Department for Education as a new Teaching School Hub.
The North West London Teaching School Hub covers the boroughs of Barnet, Brent and Enfield, ensuring that our 307 schools have access to expert teacher training and development. Teaching School Hubs lead in the following areas:
- The Early Career Framework (ECF)
- Appropriate Body Service (ABs)
- National Professional Qualifications (NPQs)
- Initial Teacher Training (ITT)
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
As a Teaching School Hub, we support collaboration and will share best practice between schools, LAs and the Brent Schools Partnership.
